For paddlers this is one of few public access to South River. There is decent size parking space. Access road is grass/gravel road (quite bumpy). From the parking lot one has to hand carry the kayak/canoe/SUP a few hundred feet to the water.

Park is beautiful but the walk with a kayak down to the water is annoying

Great spot to launch kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The water access is about 200 yards from the parking lots so it's a bit of a distance to carry heavy boats. The ramp is sand with a rock edge on both sides. The park has one working portapottie and no trash cans. You can obtain the gate lock code by contact the Park Service. Great place in the middle of a very populated area.

Very quiet, totally uncrowded. Nice access place for kayak or canoe. No beach, some grassy areas to picnic.

Great place to launch kayaks and sup. Better for sup since a little bit too far for kayak unless have wheels.
