There are few and limited stores. The Dillard's smelled a little musty and the foot traffic was very low. The mall pretty much dies at 8 PM.

Love the Alexandria Mall. It’s my hometown mall. We always enjoy walking early in the morning and shopping in all the stores. Support your local businesses. We come to the Alexandria Mall every time we are in town because of the Dillards knows us by name and we are always greeted with a smile!

It is a dying mall. There can usually be hidden gems inside these but all that is left is a few clothing stores for each age and style group, a really bad toy store, a few options in the food court, nail salon, phone repair shop a couple kiosks and a indoor entertainment options for kids probably no older than seven. In general it's about half of what you'd get at any mall at best. It looks like once upon a time it was worth the trip from hours away to visit but not much anymore.

As with many malls these days, this building is becoming barren and lifeless. Very few businesses that are interesting, and the few that draw interest bombard you with unwanted solicitation of their special deals. At least you can play dodge the pothole in the parking lot.

The Alexandria Mall has a great variety of stores to appeal to shoppers of all ages but it could stand some improvements. Some ambient music and a fountain as well as a little ambient scenting wouldn't hurt. Live plants at strategic locations throughout the mall would also be nice. As for the so-called Food Court, I think the management company needs to put some strong focus on filling those spaces. There are only 5 shops open on the Food Court and of those only 3 actually serve true food. Of the other 2, one serves teas and the other one serves cookies. The parking area is ample but in bad condition. It could stand resurfacing or at the very least some serious patching. The hours are 11AM-7PM M-Sa and Noon-5PM on Su which certainly doesn't allow many shopping hours for working people. As I stated previously, it could stand some improvements.
